WHEN LIFE BRINGS YOU FULL CIRCLE

Among the ironies in my life, I had the opportunity to include the first person who hired me in one of my leadership workshops. It’s difficult to express how meaningful it was that the great trainer and manager who hired me 20+ years ago would want to attend one of my workshops.

I am thankful for Jeff Kuhn, Managing Partner for Legion Prospecting, as I am thankful for all of my coaching clients who trust me enough—or are curious enough to invest in coaching or consulting with me.

Jeff has allowed me to share some of his story, which is also a part of my formative story. Somehow, over the past two decades, we have found ourselves on similar paths as business coaches, and our stories merged when Jeff hired me as Helen Henny at Chuck E. Cheese (Yes, that’s me in the chicken costume in the photo).

Outside of Philadelphia, I worked at Chuck E. Cheese, where Jeff Kuhn was the General Manager who also managed Regional Training. I was very fortunate to experience working with a great trainer and manager until I left home to attend Penn State University. I returned to my role as Helen Henny during semester breaks.

One great thing about social media is the ability to stay in touch with people no matter how far apart we are. I've kept in touch with Jeff on and off over the years, but I was surprised when he signed up for one of my public Leadership Workshops. He had been such a great trainer and manager in my life; I was very flattered that he would register for a workshop that I was leading.

In turn, I registered for one of Jeff’s workshops this month; and not surprisingly, I benefited greatly. A lot has happened over twenty years, but some things have not changed: Jeff remains a great leader. He now conducts workshops on various topics and is a coach for organizations and leaders who he coaches one-on-one.

I am proud to call Jeff my friend, and it’s with pride that I introduce this great leader to you. Jeff is the Managing Partner for Legion Prospecting, and he is a Business Coach who works with MAPS Business Coaching. He has managed top-ranked, high-performing retail, restaurant, renewable energy, technology, and real estate teams.

Coaching seems to be second nature for Jeff, who is from a family of teachers. His lifelong desire has been to help others succeed in business and in life. Jeff’s reputation and coaching style help others create a vision; develop their strategy, and help them achieve it. He may not have known it at the time, but he profoundly influenced a young Penn State student.

Throughout his career, Jeff has led hundreds to achieve their dreams in business management and ownership. The philosophy he has demonstrated in success and what he teaches leaders is to hire the right people, train them the right way, and help them achieve their dreams. I was fortunate to train with him, and I highly recommend @jeffrey_kuhn - as a person and a coach.
