CHECK REGULARLY

As you gain experience with the Votta Exercise and see it start to produce positive results in your own life and career, you may wish to share it with others, whether it be family, friends, or members of your team. It’s true—the Votta Exercise is about creating actions and structures that work for you or the person you are coaching—and I just told you not to give advice. However, there are times when one-on-one clients have asked to have coaching calls only when they need me, instead of holding weekly calls.

Using the Votta Exercise regularly to intentionally move things along no matter where they’re at leads to amazing results—ones I feel are more exponential because the client is continually looking for that next step toward achieving new results.
I recommend checking in with the person you are coaching at least once a quarter. Whether they are an entrepreneur or happily employed in a corporate job, part of the structure you establish as their coach could be seeing what jobs are open once a quarter. When working with me, my clients don’t have to tell anyone else in the world they are looking at available job open- ings. I am a vault. Not only do I promise confidentiality, I also promise anonymity. When they make a decision to look at what is available and choose not to leave that quarter, they are free to feel invested in their current situation and be more intentional about their actions during that quarter.
